The Pedra Pintada archaeological site, located in the Colonial village of Cocais, 3.5 km from Barão de Cocais and 93 km from Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The region is part of the Serra do Espinhaço, whose importance was recognized by UNESCO in 2005. In addition to the rock painting, visitors can enjoy a beautiful landscape and the various waterfalls of the region.
