By Marek PagaczSun Chasers is a short film I made on a Sunday afternoon with breakdancers Preston Kyd & Tarquin Samuels, and is one many "just for fun" videos I will be uploading on my personal channel from now on.
The title is derived from the fact that we were chasing the sun, rushing from location to location, trying to shoot after the harsh sunlight faded and just before the sun set. We filmed around various locations of our hometown in Durban, South Africa.
Breakdance is a beautiful form of expression, there is something captivating and unreal about being in mid air for just over 1 second, whether you're the dancer or the viewer, you
can't help but say "Wow."
I aimed to prolong that "Wow" moment with the use of super slow motion. I hope you enjoy watching this and this if you have any technical questions, just leave a comment!
The track, used with kind permission, is Katy B - 5AM (Sketchy Bongo Remix)

Exploration is in the blood of some people. I'd been struggling with the decision to settle down into a career or drop it all in order to travel the world. I confided in my father and he let me in on a family secret -- one that was withheld from him on the fear he would repeat the actions of our ancestor. I used Filmconvert's Plrd600 filter to give my video a sun bleached 16mm family album feel.

By Alex MagillSanta Cruz was our last stop before heading back to San Diego after spending 4 days on the road bouncing around California. We got there a little later than we planned, but after spending a few minutes watching the guys (and girls) charge waves, we decided to grab some gear out of the van and see what we could get. We found a nice spot on the cliff and spent the next 30 minutes chasing surfers with our lens. Santa Cruz is one of our favorite Northern California towns, so it was cool to take a break and just film something for the fun of it.

"Tesh" is a story about Hitesh Parekh who came from a small town in India and is now realizing his dream. Tesh came to the US in 1996 as a project manager for an IT company based in India. As a child he fell in love with drawing and painting but the idea of becoming an artist as a profession seemed out of reach as the pressures of making money took hold. In his downtime as a single adult living in America he found his way back to that artistic passion initially through photography. Eventually he picked up sketching and painting again and when the opportunity arose to be an artist professionally he knew it was the right thing to do. He's now an accomplished photographer and painter living in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Tesh has established himself in both the wedding and corporate industries. By Benjamin van HoutsPoverty and need in the local community can often be closer than most people think. Recognizing this need in the local Dayton area (937 area code), our student body at Cedarville University is partnering with ministries that are creating lasting change.
As the Media Director for Cedarville's Student Government, I wanted to create a video that not only exposed the need in our hurting community but also explored ways to help through local ministries. Shoes 4 The Shoeless provides shoes for impoverished children and Target Dayton Ministries provides meals for the poor and homeless. A brief snapshot of these ministries' stories is captured with the goal to inspire our student body and people in general to pour into the local community and serve those within reach that desperately need help.
I shot this video entirely using my Canon T3i and Glidecam HD2000. For most of the glidecam shots, I used a Canon 35mm f2.0. When filming the interviews, I used my Canon 50
An international popband sensation of centenarian grannies? Yep, it’s KBG84. People in the Okinawa island chain in southern Japan live to be the oldest anywhere in the world. It is designated a BlueZone and has one of the highest concentrations of centenarians. While both men and women of older generations live long lives, women tend to outlive their male counterparts and make it well into their 100s – and Tomi-San is no exception. Unavoidable when you live that long, tragedy entered Tomi’s life when both her son & husband passed away. Tomi found herself in a deep depression. This is the story of how she faced unimaginable hardship and sorrow in her life and in the process broke through barriers beyond her wildest dreams. Film Convert played a role in the final grade as we looked to really bring out the granny's age, frailty, yet paradoxical ruggedness.
By Stephan BoekerSoul. What began as an opportunity to create a simple restaurant menu sizzle reel turned into something so much more. We spent two days with world renowned Chef Scott Conant in an intimate setting, capturing him in his element at The Americano, his new Italian-inspired steakhouse in the heart of Scottsdale, AZ. We learned a valuable lesson when landing this once in a lifetime gig with Scott: When you have the opportunity to speak with someone about their craft, whatever it may be, it’s important to take the time to really dig deep and discover what pushes them to show up every day and push for their very best. And with this project, we did just that.

An age old practice of self-awareness, self-improvement, self-love, harmony and strength. Yoga has created peace across our world, from prison in mates to at-risk youth but the divide in our society as a whole is still prevalent. The artist series on Yoga dives into the lives of yoga instructors, sound healers, massage therapy and bringing communities together to spread the love of the practice and bring more peace and courage to a world that is in desperate need of more love. Please share this series with everyone as I know the impact made will start to turn the wheels of change. By Joe ProudmanAs a Canadian traveling through Baltimore and Washington during the time of the Trump election, I noticed a lot of things that stood out to me. The anger, aggression and divide between the political parties, the extremely evident racial separation and the stark contrast between the rich and the poor. These things were all incredibly prominent as we drove through the streets of these cities. I wanted to create a video that would not only show this, but also deliver a message that to me, all this divide and anger does not make any sense. In the world that we live in today, we need more love and compassion, we need more understanding for each other and we need to make a change.

By Tim JohnsonThrough first-hand testimony The Bliss of Ignorance investigates South Africa's complex relationship with one of the country's most abundant resources: coal.
With experts predicting the creation of a "sick" generation in the Mpumalanga region (which is home to 12 of the world's largest power stations),this documentary looks at the impact of South Africa's energy policy - particularly the support for Eskom's coal-fired power stations - on public health. In February 2015 energy giants Eskom were granted five years grace from complying with atmospheric emission standards, making this film ever more timely and relevant.
Set against the wider climate change debate, The Bliss of Ignorance highlights how the mining and burning of coal affects the environment; polluting air and valuable water resources in a water-scarce country. In 2012, 17,000 people in Carolina, Mpumalanga were left without water because their local supply was polluted by acid mine drainage. <
