The Silver Boys is a short documentary about street boys juggling to survive. These boys paint their faces and bodies with a metallic paint to stop being invisible.
By Jared SalazarWith its remote beauty and strong, independently-minded people, Trás-os-Montes (meaning ‘beyond the mountains’) is one of the most isolated and genuinely unspoilt parts of southern Europe. Plateaus and majestic mountains make up the scenery while untouched historical villages keep the traditions alive. Podence is one of those small villages, made famous by an ongoing ritual that dates back more than 2000 years, to Roman times, where devil and men run, hand in hand, causing havoc and misfits. The “Caretos de Podence” is a devilish ritual that stood the test of time, a ritual where men are allowed to incarnate the devil by setting free their primary instinct and innate behaviour: the search for the woman.

By Nick BrownThis young man from Tamale, Ghana has a lot on his mind. His reflections about life in Africa is precise and the story about how a childhood memory about the amazing Spiderman influenced his life and almost became a self-fulfilling prophecy. His ambition to success is no different than in our western world, but maybe harder?
The soccer field where we meet Maccarthy could easily be a metaphor for life in Ghana; a lot of obstacles, bumpy and full of rocks. But that does not discourage them. The soccer training is about more than just keeping fit it is a way to socialise and network which is very important in that part of the world. As Maccarthy says “ Things do not come easy in my part of the world - you have to struggle a hundred procent ” Maccarthy is this young compelling man with a lot on his mind.

Joseph Bispo and Diego Morales are two of the crew members whose passion for steam-powered railroading keeps the YMSPRR running day after day, year after year. Their personal histories, the challenges they've faced and overcome, and their dedication to the trade are the heart of this film.

By Felix S. HoffmannOn the edge of Manitoba's Whiteshell Provincial Park lives Walter Keller, a Swiss national who came to Canada in 1967 with the dream of becoming a cowboy. He never became a cowboy, but instead picked up a chainsaw and began a long career in forestry, before finding a hidden talent in wood carving. Walter and his sweetheart, now design and carve commissioned artwork for clients across Canada, the northern USA, and Europe.
I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon in October with Walter as he worked on a number of pieces, and got an insight into his creative process.

By MaximMartin Riese is a water sommelier, which, despite what your brain might be telling you right now, is a real thing. Riese is perhaps the most well known of a very small pool of water sommeliers around the world who have made a profession of tasting, analyzing, judging, and ultimately spreading the good word about the many different flavors of water our tastebuds have been missing out on. For this film, we followed Martin from his home at the Patina Restaurant in Los Angeles to the first of its kind water competition and trade show in Guangzhou, China. Why? “Because water is not just water.”
By David FreidWith 170 years of tradition, the Pilgrimage of The Divine Eternal Father is considered the largest feast dedicated to the Holy Trinity throughout the world, which makes the city of Trindade, in the metropolitan region of Goiânia, a special place: The Capital of Faith in the state of Goiás. The devotees go on pilgrimage from different places in the country with a single destination: the "Basilica do Divino Pai Eterno". There they seek meaning for life, relief for the pains or simply thank the received Graces. The pilgrims make the route on foot, a route with 18 km between Goiânia and Trindade.
By Nilo ResendeOur friend Jes is a talented photographer who happens to be a beekeeper on her spare time. She asked us if we wanted to come and film her bees. We then decided to turn this into a little doco. This was originally prompted by the fact that bees were recently declared the most important living beings on this planet. Thus was filmed in the Blue Mountains, close to Sydney, Australia.
By Florent PiovesanThis is a short film about the processes by which mountains are created and eventually destroyed. It is based upon the work of British geographer L. Dudley Stamp, and was shot in Iceland.
Physical geography and geology is an enormous and fascinating subject, and this film only touches upon the surface of the discipline. For those who wish to further advance their knowledge in this field, additional reading and research is recommended.

Patrick Bracelin has been my best friend since college. We did an initial interview with Patrick which quickly turned into, what I would consider, one of my favorite things I've captured on video.
We made the haul to Phoenixville, PA from the DC area for the additional shots we wanted to lay over the video that we had already edited featuring Patrick's interview. This is one of the first interviews I've ever done, and topping this experience will be quite the challenge in the foreseeable future.
Patrick still rides and plans on riding as much as possible. The only difference being either on a track or in the woods now that all of his street bikes have been sold. Bad habits don't have to define your passion. Do what you love even if it may kill you. Life is short, make it count.

In Cold War-times, Cuba racked up a debt with what was then called Czecholslavakia. Since then, the Soviet Union collapsed, Czechoslovakia became the Czech Republic, and Cuba stood frozen in time. That Soviet-era debt survives though, and negotiations have recently surfaced for Cuba to repay that debt in rum. According to The Guardian, 130 years worth. Of rum. That’s a fun story, right? We thought so too. So we went to Cuba to tell it, and learned that you can’t just make a puff piece in an active military dictatorship.

There are very few services there, and those that do exist have a largely institutional model.

“The sunrise is G-d’s greeting – the sunset, His signature.” I set out to capture a short piece that would paint this spectacle and enable Sydneysiders to share this moment we are able to experience every evening with their friends and family across the world.
'Tomorrow' is a film that captures the beauty and emotion of a sunset in Sydney behind the city skyline. To me, a sunset is about the ending of 24 hours and the transition to a new day, a time we are able to reflect on the past, enjoy the present and contemplate our future. 'Tomorrow' was filmed from Rose Bay and Dover Heights over a period of two sunsets.

This is the trailer for our upcoming (April 2015) short film (13m long) dealing with Nazis' project known as
"Aktion t4".
This is a nonprofit film (self budget) based on a year and half research. Its storyboard is an interpretation of the case that simulates an interrogation which took place somewhere - sometime involving some of the main authentic characters. The interrogation emphasises the "Aktion" as the "trailer" for the Final solution.
All of the testimonies given by the characters are based on evidence and documents at least as a substantial truth!

Scheduled for demolition, the Twin Peaks mall was opened up to a select group of street artists to do what they do best, go big. Organized by Gamma Acosta, artists from the surrounding areas beat the summer heat sweating and painting for over a week. The outcomes are shown here. Built in 1985 the mall had a good run but just as the 80's had to sadly end, so did indoor malls. But what better way to go then to be covered in art.
