Surf culture in Slovenia is still young and naive, but on the other hand true and hardcore as it gets. As inlanders, growing up close to the high mountains, we put our hearts and souls (and all the spare money) into getting our feet on some fiberglass... never to far, never to cold and never to crappy for a Slovenian waveglider... Klemen Surk is one of the pioneers of Slovenian surf scene. He is one of the mellowest and modest guys I have had the pleasure to share some waves and surftripping moments with... a traveller, a soul surfer and all around good guy with a light social media addiction, this is Klemzy! By Robin DeOne day we struck the realisation that we know a bunch of people who have taken a big leap of faith and are pursuing some really cool dreams. So we decided that we would make a mini series of films that showcase their talents - The People Project. Meet Tom, the woodworker. We shot this film across a number of afternoons at the WKW workshop in Chichester, West Sussex. Tom’s work is awesome and we quickly realised that he’d be a good person to feature for Episode 02. The Karen people are an ethnic group that have been displaced from their homeland due to the worlds longest-running civil war in Myanmar. The majority are living in overpopulated refugee camps in Thailand and an increasing number are scattered throughout the world via refugee settlement programs. Over 2000 Karen refugees have decided to come to Bendigo, Australia. This incredibly unique Asian culture is integrating with Bendigo, a regional Australian town and becoming a celebrated part of the community. 'We Are Karen' tells the story of how and why this migration is happening and succeeding.

By PavelThere is magic in life, not only in the movies. This, is a true story of true people, This, we hope will inspire you and touch your heart as it did for us. Some call me light I bring warmth on earth Filling the air and hearts with vibrant colours At a new beginning, Or at the turn of a page I spread life, I am life I’m everywhere, Wrapping the world in my immensity Deep down feeding people Their body, their soul, their hearts I welcome life and cherish it Like mothers love their child I am the ocean I am the heart of the islands Where you can rest and seek exile Welcoming, like the smile of a child My ancient trees provide for the people My shores delicately carve their way out of the sea To reveal soft sands and warm hearts I am the soul of the forest I protect and care for my people Filling them with undemanding love
By Nicolas PETTE"When the Land Calls" was inspired by the work of photographer James Ravillious, who in the 1970s and 80s documented the fast disappearing rural life of North Devon. One of his subjects was farmer Bill Strawbridge. Today Bill's grandson Ed farms the same land. The film follows Ed through his day on the dairy farm and as he looks back at Ravillious's photographs of the farming life in the years before he was born. Earlier this year "When the Land Calls" won the Arri/Director's UK Challenge - to film, edit and deliver a three minute film on the subject of Millenials in just three days using an Arri Amira.

By Dario'Working the Sea' follows the fortunes of the Bagwells, a Sidmouth fishing family from the forties when young Stan was fishing with his father in a borrowed boat, to the nineties when they have two fish shops, two trawlers fishing out of Brixham, and three boats working off the beach at Sidmouth. Then, tragedy strikes and the women of the family pick up the pieces. The film also weaves the contemporary users of the coast, from the sailing club to the lifeboat, into the narrative. So this is ultimately a film about community spirit and how a mutual love of and respect for the sea draws people together. 'This stunning film: fascinating and inspiring, funny and humbling is a powerful reminder how lucky we are on the coast'.
