For as long as I can remember, I have gotten an incredible amount of inspiration from watching people, especially dancers, perform. Music also is something that pushes me to action, even if I don't know what that action ought to be; it simply compels me to do something. Even though I'm not a dancer or a musician, I wanted to make a little film that could express my love of those things and share it with you. Many many thanks go to Olivia Conlin, who was the dancer in the video as well as the choreographer. She worked so openly and freely with me to make this thing happen, and it was probably the best collaboration I've been a part of. I put her in pretty much every situation a dancer wouldn't want to be in, and she took every scene in stride. Never complaining or giving up; just awesome. The video was filmed entirely in Minnesota over the course of six months. The music is "Revival" by Ryan Taubert, and is licensed from The Music Bed. All rights to the footage are owned by me.

Ngelawang performed by a group of children with Barong paraded around the village and accompanied by Gamelan Ngelawang is a tradition in the celebration of the feast Galungan and Hari Raya Kuningan in Bali. Ngelawang derived from the gates (doors) which means ngelawang is staging conducted from house to house and from village to village using bangkung barong (a barong pig figure). This tradition aims to drive out evil spirits and protect the population from outbreaks or diseases caused by spirits (bhuta kala). At the time lasted ngelawang, the homeowner will provide the money as haturan. Ngelawang derived from the mythological goddess Ulun Danu who turns into a giant who helps the villagers do evil spirits. Once this ritual is a sacred rite so if barong scattered feathers, then people will pick it up and make it as auspicious objects. Now, ngelawang made art show presented by the children.

Starting in the must-see Vigeland Sculpture Park, this journey takes us west to Trollstigen, out onto the Fjords of Geiranger and Oslo, aboard the famous Flam Railway, and back to Oslo for some island hopping. I usually wait for a year before I start editing the footage from my travels. Some call it procrastination, I like to call it traveling on a budget. With this method, I can relive all the adventures while going through the hundred gigabytes of video! Kind of. Back in November of 2015 we decided to escape the horrible Estonian weather and flew to Bali. The tourism and party capital of Indonesia! But we avoided the beach-party-promenade of Kuta and set out to explore the hidden natural attractions. We climbed a volcano and swam with manta rays, bathed in huge waterfalls and surfed not so huge waves, jumped down some cliffs and walked on pink sand beaches. Press play and book your flight.

For this short film "on my knees, like an orphan," I shot with the Sony Fs5 and 6500 and two different iPhones. In post, I used several stocks FilmConvert stocks to create looks with meaning. The stories tied together with "Life, Life" -- a song from Ryuichi Sakamoto's new record, music which he has shared as part of the |async International Short Film Contest. Because I live in a city, I fight for nature. And every time I am in nature, I do feel the awe. So that is why I named this short film from final lines of the poem: "I dedicate myself, on my knees, like an orphan, Alone - among mirrors - fenced in by reflections: Cities and seas, iridescent, intensified. Commercial Clip for german camera store Foto Leistenschneider, which is going to open a new store in Frankfurt at the horsemarket (Rossmarkt). The horse belongs to the photographer Nina Wilkesmann, a twelve years old white horse, which we coulered with beetroot. The clip is graded with filmconvert, because we wanted that special filmic look.

Due to the global climate change, snowboarding in Estonia has become a pretty rare activity during the winter months. We get natural snow for two weeks and the ski resorts struggle with making enough snow to build and maintain a proper snowboard park. Despite the depressing conditions, I tried to stay positive and managed to stack enough footage to put together this snowboard video.

Kara returns to her original tribe called the ‘Planters’. They have not seen her in years but suddenly realise that she is not the same person who left them. Kara is adamant that she has returned to save the tribe from imminent extinction but the Planter High Council exercise caution against her hysterical behaviour. Kara then tries to instigate a coup within the tribe with the hope of overthrowing the council hierarchy. Not all Planters are convinced by her claims but by injecting fear into the community chaos ensues. Made with Film Convert
