NESCAC Rivals Wesleyan Football takes on Tufts in a battle to the very end.

Filming took place in Taiwan, where the musicians went to play a concert at the Love Love Rock festival. For several days after the show, together with photographer Dasha Yastrebova, the team traveled around the metropolis of Taipei. In the frame came the lunar landscapes of the geopark Yehliu, beaches on the coast of the East China Sea, diamond reefs of Laoma, Buddhist temples and busy streets of Taipei itself.

Geno's (one of our favorite restaurants in NE Minneapolis) needed a commercial to get the word out about their Chicken Parm and Wine Slushies. This is that commercial. Uptop took this project from Concept to Completion. Shot on a Sony FS7 with Rokinon Cine Glass, Graded with FilmConvert.

Once a month a make an Adventure segment about the fun you can have in Northern Michigan. In this segment I head out to document the durable surfers that ride the Great Lakes year round.

The cool part about this story is the owner, Ron Loe, has traced his genealogy back over 1,000 years ago to Norway and found that his ancestors were woodworkers too! So I was able to mix in some footage of an old style carpenter. Fun piece!

'Working the Sea' follows the fortunes of the Bagwells, a Sidmouth fishing family from the forties when young Stan was fishing with his father in a borrowed boat, to the nineties when they have two fish shops, two trawlers fishing out of Brixham, and three boats working off the beach at Sidmouth. Then, tragedy strikes and the women of the family pick up the pieces. The film also weaves the contemporary users of the coast, from the sailing club to the lifeboat, into the narrative. So this is ultimately a film about community spirit and how a mutual love of and respect for the sea draws people together.
