For my 2018 trip to Iceland, I noticed that every place I went had such distinct sounds. Using Filmconvert, I collected and organized the footage I'd shot and turned it into a beautiful showcase of images and audio from all over the island. This is a sonic journey across the land of ice and fire.

Based on the Nativity story I wanted to capture the strength of Mary who was mocked by people for being pregnant out of wedlock. In the midst of Mary's life no one was there for her but she was strong, courageous, and faithful to God through every moment. I believe women are strong and courageous and carry a burden of being looked down upon daily, looked at as if they are not strong enough, independent enough, or good enough but I believe otherwise. I believe that women will carry us into the future just as Mary did.

The concept: We see Steve Louis staring at his laptop. He has made a music video, but it kinda failed and only has 43 views on youtube. He is really disappointed, and therefore he decides to hustle and try to sell his cd copies on the street. At the end of the music video we see that he has a lot of views because of the hustling. All the shots where he is on the street selling cd's have a old VHS look to show that it took place in a different period of his life. All the parts that you see in the chorus are from a period where he is more successful. The moral of the story is that hard work pays off.

It is designated a BlueZone and has one of the highest concentrations of centenarians. While both men and women of older generations live long lives, women tend to outlive their male counterparts and make it well into their 100s – and Tomi-San is no exception. Unavoidable when you live that long, tragedy entered Tomi’s life when both her son & husband passed away. Tomi found herself in a deep depression. This is the story of how she faced unimaginable hardship and sorrow in her life and in the process broke through barriers beyond her wildest dreams.
