I was asked in early September to do a same day edit for Jan Acosta and her future husband Jake Zipay. She wanted something very cinematic and movie like. I knew it would've been way harder to do it by myself so I asked my sister and good friend and brother in law to help out. Since focus would be really critical with the moving shots on my ronin and the fact that native glass has autofocus, which is more user friendly for my assistant cameramen; I decided to rent Sony Fe glass to go with the Sony Cameras we were using and forego with my canon glass on this occasion. I do not regret that decision one bit and might just sell my canon glass now. With some careful planning we were able to create something magical for their night. Starting at 830am and shot till 7pm. I started editing around 5pm while my team helped with the remaining shots.
Edited in 3hrs. I used FilmConvert to Color Correct the video to give it a more film like feel while still keeping the natural colors the camer

John Deere is helping farmers adapt with precision technology that connects people, equipment and technology to make a good farm even better. To let the world know about, we went to Clear Meadow Farm in White Hall, Maryland and documented one family's multi-generational story. The key was to make the story feel authentic, so other farmers would connect emotionally. The Rose family let us into their homes and their lives for three days while we captured their spirit. Shoot details: 3 day shoot 5 person crew [from Racepoint Global agency in Boston] 2 Sony A7riis, 1 Movi M5, and a small assortment of Sony Batis lenses 1 Drone I served as a videographer, main editor and colorist on this project. My grade used Film Convert's FJ Provia 100 for the dusk shots in the beginning of the film, and the remainder of the footage used FJ 8553 ET.

Many of the locations featured in the film are authentic to Muir's life including his home in Martinez, California, northeast of Oakland and Muir Woods National Monument just north of San Francisco, California. Tall Ships® Duluth 2013 was the single largest event in the region’s history with an estimated direct economic impact of $15 million in addition to millions of dollars of worldwide publicity. In 2016, the Festival returned to Duluth, MN, and we took the opportunity to capture the ships leaving the harbor as they set sail for home.

This is a music video about a boy who is searching for who he is in a world of striving, expectation, and chaos.

Shot during our journey to Karpaty, Ukraine. All shots were handheld. Some parts of the footage may be shacky (because of bad road situation in Ukraine and crop factor). The natural look of Karpaty mountains is still gorgeous.
Edited in Premiere Pro CS6, than graded with FilmConvert plugin for PP (FJ SuperX 400, Color 100%, Grain 50%) and sharpned up. Shot on 550d with 50 mm f/1.8, Samyang 14 mm f/2.8. Jon and James were paired up in March of 2017. At the time they were living on opposite sides of the country. James had never ridden a tandem bicycle and Jon had a bowl style skateboard helmet and his first pair of clip-less cycling shoes, which he was keen to try out for race day. After a couple of wobbly starts and one low speed crash, Jon and James stormed onto their first podium, taking a bronze medal and their first steps toward the 2020 Paralympic Games. This film was created to share their story and raise funds to keep the momentum going.
