A short documentary about the professional dancer Marisa Ricci and her thoughts about dancing. Filmed on various locations across Lisbon, Portugal. This is the sequel to a documentary series about professional dancers that i started with Jamal Callender.

This is a Real Wedding filmed in Santa Barbara, California at the Maritime Museum. I used a combo of the Sony a7III , Sony A7RIII, and a6400. Lenses Used: Sony 24-70 f/2.8 GM , Sony 24mm f/1.4 , Sigma 16mm f/1.4 The HLG 2 profile handles a nice range of conditions and allows you to manipulate color decently in post without destroying the image. NITRATE + HLG-2 makes for a nice workflow once the wedding is picture locked!

This was born out of a conversation about youth in the digital age and having my parents home for Christmas. Hitasha is a lead cake designer and owner of The Cakery Bake Shop and this girl can design cakes like no other. Being a South Asian Videography studio, we get to work with many vendors but it’s an honor when we get to film their own wedding. During my early discussions with Hitasha and Kunal, I learned three things very quickly: they have a great love story, they love Bollywood and she is going to design her own cake. I knew that if we somehow capture these three things, we will achieve the goal of capturing something which means lot to them. When it comes to Bollywood, what can be better than lovebirds in the rain? They loved the idea and we decided to go with it. Long story short, it was challenging but fun to capture rain shots without having Bollywood budget. Since Hitasha is a cake designer she planned to make her own cake. Petter lived at a remote place called Mefjord on the Island of Sørøya for more then 40 years all by himself. It took him nearly half a century to build a road to his house - but he never owned a car. He died in 2014, but the place looks as he still lives there.

Last Fall, on a crisp autumn evening in Oct, I had the pleasure of capturing Meghan & Matthew Rhoades wedding at Oxon Hill Manor in Maryland. Working alongside talented photog, Kate Palker, and her great stable of shooters from Pearly Kate Photography, I was able to record every milestone of the big day. Running the show was Tori from Candy + Company, making sure the whole event came together perfectly. Last but not least, Meghan and Matthew's friends and family came out in full force to support their loved ones. And the trailer above is mere snapshot of the love and affection that went into making such a lovely day possible.

Moments of a summer afternoon on the beach with my daughter. Moments to remember.

Early this year we had the honor to document Kris and Emma's wedding. They rented the beautiful, yet moody and dark castle of Eckartsau, Austria.

Some moments from barefoot beach while I was out taking photos with my siblings. I didn't have an ND filter with me so the frame rate is crazy high to counter over exposure, and most of the shots were brief with no plans in mind for them. Instead of tossing this footage I decided to use it to experiment with color grading and decided to combine Filmconvert with an Osiris LUT.

They offer adventure tours through the beautiful caves of the Yucatán Península and combine them with the adrenaline of driving ATV's through the mayan jungle, finishing with a fresh snorkel dive into the reefs of the caribbean. The film takes place in a modern, but completely empty, apartment. We watch each member of the band in short scenes portraying everyday life, in a very minimalistic environment. One is in the bath, another is reading a book, another is getting dressed, another is chopping vegetables in the kitchen. They are expressionless and almost lifeless. The music gathers momentum and these moments of everyday life seem to be shaken by the following, unexpected, events. Party guests invade the apartment as the worlds of inertia and life collide, and little by little mayhem ensues. — For this music video I spent 1 day writing the script, 2 days shooting, and 2 days editing. This video was a very quick project, but it shows that with practice, and Filmconvert plugin, anything is possible.
