With experts predicting the creation of a "sick" generation in the Mpumalanga region (which is home to 12 of the world's largest power stations),this documentary looks at the impact of South Africa's energy policy - particularly the support for Eskom's coal-fired power stations - on public health. In February 2015 energy giants Eskom were granted five years grace from complying with atmospheric emission standards, making this film ever more timely and relevant.

Set against the wider climate change debate, The Bliss of Ignorance highlights how the mining and burning of coal affects the environment; polluting air and valuable water resources in a water-scarce country. In 2012, 17,000 people in Carolina, Mpumalanga were left without water because their local supply was polluted by acid mine drainage. <

Ripped from the headlines, this film deals with the social issues of illegal immigration from a young girl's perspective. After being separated from her brother, the little girl makes her way across the border alone, only to be caught. The intent of this film is to encourage conversation about an important issue that is in political Limbo. It's also meant to give viewers a look at the other side of immigration, the point of view of a child hoping for a better life and what she encounters along the way.

I tried something new for the first time ever. Which I suppose is slightly redundant, since anything that is new would thereby be something experienced for the first time... But I digress.

I created a character who recently lost someone and struggled to somehow find a way to move on. It's quite hard separating yourself (me, a super happy person) from a character you're portraying sometimes, which was something I totally didn't expect. It was a great learning experience, and I'd love to create more work like this as I slowly get more and more into video creation/directing.

I'm sorry for creating such a depressing video from out of nowhere, haha, but I just felt moved to do so once it started, and hope that you all enjoy it as much as I did.

The Carver is a narrative short, meaning it was scripted and acted, but in the style of a "maker video," which is a very popular documentary style that explores craft and care and character. I've had a hand in and been inspired by many gorgeous, actual maker videos, crafted themselves by some very talented filmmakers, so this is my way of honoring those. Of course, it was also written in the only way I can, with a touch of irreverence. My thanks to all my mentors who taught me the craft.

This was a family trip with my wife, kids and parents down to Gulf Shores Alabama last year. This trip became a little more memorable to me last week due to the recent hurricane that swept through there.

Why not break with the tipical, boring Industrial Corporate video ! We combined three ingredients : The industry, a Fashion Designer, and a Model. The fashion designer brings to the video the skill of full adaptation for every project, regardless of the complexity of it. The concept that every job is unique, like the Pret a Porter concept. The model puts some "glamour" onto an Industry that doesn't have. All graded with a look like Oncean's eleven film. A Cocktail that we hope you like !

An inspiring glimpse into the art and process of ceramic artist Kate Lewis.

This was an interesting one. Fred Mascherino's team approached me about doing a lyric video right around the time I was making a big transition in life moving from Seattle to Atlanta (by car). But they gave me a lot of creative freedom to try something weird so despite the stress and inconvience of trying to get this project finished while prepping to leave and then being on the road, I said yes and we came up with this stop motion final product. Also influenced by the short story “The Life and Death of Freddy Krueger” as written by Jeffrey Cooper.
In 1988 I became a major fan of Freddy and the Elm Street films. I was 12 years old and the series and story of Wes Craven’s boogeyman captured my imagination and inspired me. After reading “The Nightmare on Elm Street Companion” by Jeffrey Cooper, I had this image of the origin story of the character Craven had invented. For over 25 years I held out to see Hollywood bring the story of the Springwood Slasher to the big screen. But it never happened. While talking to some other fans one day I was told that I should write a script.
When I thought about a possible script I imagined what I most wanted to see Robert Englund do. I wanted to see him tell the story of Freddy. I wanted to see Englund

In the mini-doc "The Csikós - The last Wranglers of the Hungarian great plain", Jeroen Cox captures and shares the lifestyle of the Csikós, a group of hungarian horse wranglers who proudly cherish their traditional lifestyle. Although the community is proud of their heritage, the lifestyle is harsh and lonely, making it hard to find a new generation of Csikós. Ádám, Csaba and Lajos, some of the last wranglers of the hungarian great plain, give an insight into their days on the puszta, their close bond with their nonius horses and what it takes to be a Csikós. "The Csikós - The last Wranglers of the Hungarian great plain" was made as a part of the "Circles of cultural connection" project by the Jimmy Nelson Foundation.
