Living in Germany, beatboxers Chris Bresgen aka "Tash" and Robin Calderolla aka "Babeli" live at opposite ends of the professional spectrum. While Chris works a steady job and makes a good salary, Babeli has been a professional beatboxer for over 10 years. Both struggle to make a living while keeping up with their ultimate passion.

Clips of my trip to the Scottish Highlands and Edinburgh with my sister and mother. We ventured through the entire city and visited Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle, The Kelpies, and many more beautiful places. I completely fell in love with Scotland, and the friendly people there. I used a Sony A7SII camera with the Sigma 35mm f1.4 Art and Sony FE 16-35mm f4.0. Both handheld and on a Ikan EC1Beholder gimbal. Footage is 4k slog-2k and HD cine 4 for high frame rates. All color grading was done using Filmconvert.

Cowboy Jesus, as some jokingly have called him, bestows trust and bravery into the horse. He reflects on his own struggles and how those difficulties shaped the horseman he is today. There is quiet therapy in horses. We were honored to spend some time with Joel and shed light on his humbled character.

Brigid & Ben are childhood sweethearts, and their journey into adulthood has brought it's own trials. Their wedding day was a celebration of their love and resilience together. This 3 minute version is a snippet of their day, focusing on the Ceremony. Less cinematic than most wedding videos today, I try to focus on being in the moment with the couple and making videos that are a representation of them.

Such a perfect day! It is such a special privilege to film the wedding of two people that are very dear to you. Bronte and Kyle had the most incredible wedding day, at which I definitely shed a couple of tears and then I nearly shed them again as I edited this video and relived all of those moments again. I enjoyed every second of making this video and I hope you enjoy every second of watching it!

SmashWerks Films' Director, Smash LeFunk, was approached by A Better Life Foundation, a non-profit organization helping put children through school, to travel to Burkina Faso, one of Africa's poorest countries, to document their journey. ABLF covers uniforms, school supplies, books, basic health care, eyeglasses for poor vision, wheelchairs for those with mobility issues, and they monitor academic progress monthly throughout the school year as well as provide counseling to address any domestic concerns. Smash was humbled and honored to be able to document ABLF's journey, witnessing first hand how impactful their mission is.
