I grew up with westerns, Clint Eastwood was my idea of a tough guy. I always wanted to direct a western, So I did!

The musical meeting of the singer Thyone Salinas and the pianist and composer André Mendes, two great talents of Brazilian music. Thyone - for more than 30 years she is considered by her fans and great musicians who with her played "Elis Regina incarnate", not only for her very similar voice, but mainly for her visceral interpretations. André Mendes, a young and talented pianist who interprets as few of the incomparable arrangements of César Camargo Mariano - ex-husband and great musical partner of Elis Regina.

A corporate video filmed in Cape Town earlier this year. We had a Morgan Freeman impersonator do the voiceover. Film, drone + edit by me.

The notorious TnT Brass Band from Cologne, Germany attacks the venue of the beautiful Kalscheurer Weiher in a pirate style (with boats) - and then starts a live concert! (the editing crew worked hard to stay as cool as the swan in this video, at least that's what they said...)

Tom & Megan got married in the beautiful english county of Cornwall. With a ceremony in a UK National Trust building, their wedding was a day to remember with their family and friends. Such a colourful wedding day that involved portrait sessions within fields of lavender and farmers wheat.

I was sent away on a shoot to Trieste. I have only been to Italy once - strangely enough last time it was also to Trieste. It's a small but lovely little city if you know where to look. We had fun filming and I was lucky enough to catch a few moments here and there to cut this little video...

While out in LA for a week of recording, I found an old beat up Pontiac LeMans in a Rent A Wreck parking lot. The next morning I picked up the car for a 24 hour period, got a group of friends together, and went out and filmed a 24 hour road trip.

Unforgettable Thailand is a project born out of a desire to capture the sights and sounds of a country that has left a lasting impression on my wife and I. This short film is an aggregation of footage that was shot while we were living and traveling throughout the country, between 2013 and 2015. We chipped away at this edit over a duration of 22 months, with the overall concept changing several times along the way. It’s been a long road, but we’ve had a blast and learned a ton. We also had an opportunity to work with a very talented film composer who created the score for this short, which was a lot of fun to say the least!

Ep. 1: A Man Walks the Roads of a Fallen City.

Set in an alternate Universe, during a tense stand-off between the riot police and occupy central protestors an unidentified man releases an airborne virus which rapidly infects the entire city within weeks and sets off a chain of events.

Months after the incident, a small group of survivors have sought refuge at the outskirts of the city, on a remote beach near the ocean. But their safe haven is about to be disrupted when a man and his kayak washes ashore, triggering fear and paranoia among them as the possibility of more outsiders discovering their new home arises. They have until nightfall to battle their moral conscience and decide whether to let the man live or, kill him to protect themselves and their new home at any cost.

Music video for the Lithuanian singers Vaidas and Justé. This is a short flashback of their teenage life in the post soviet neighbourhoods. It was shot in the place, where the director of the music video was born and raised. Also it's the exact location where part of the HBO's series Chernobyl were shot.

That was a first video I did with my friend Vanya. We spent around one hour and that's what we got as a result!

About the couple: This is a story of paths crossing, from Guatemala to Spain. When you have two people who are passionate, considerate and loving, it's a moment that you won't forget when you see them decide to take the journey together and not apart. About the film: While creating the film, we had the privilege of recording their proposal in Lago Atitlan in Guatemala, as well as the wedding and reception. So having access to these moments really opened up the edit to a non-traditional story. We wanted this wedding film to show the interconnected stories that a wedding can have. We also wanted the music to complement the location as it’s near an active volcano. We also graded the film with FilmConvert to breathe life into the footage.

Timor-Leste is a country where education is precious and rare, where an individual’s approach to another is generous and kind hearted and where life is not easy but celebrated.

Slow Jazz music combined with the cinematic look of yellowish, bronze & brownish colored beauty shots of the city. Inspired by the 'Midnight in Paris' opening scene, this project was shot (on a Sony A7s) & edited between August 4-7, 2015 on location in Vienna, Austria. Graded with FCPX color and Filmconvert.
