iPhone 5 in 1080p at 30fps. No additional lenses or software, filmed with Apple's camera app with locked exposure and focus. Simple editing done in Final Cut Pro 7 and all graded with Film Convert. This took about 4 hours including the filming. Submission for Film Converts 2013 competition

I took my original short film that I shot in San Francisco about 1 year and brought it into FilmConvert (filmconvert.com) for a re-grade. I really love the way this software makes digitally shot footage looks. It's pretty much the most accurate way to emulate 35mm or 16mm filmstock. As far as cameras go I shot this on the Canon 60d (some shots on the 5D Mark II) and 24-105mmL F4 IS lens with a Zacuto Z-Finder, and no tripod. I really like this version more than the original.

I suggest you download the original film to fully appreciate the emulsion and grain as Vimeo's compression ruins a lot of the magic!

A commercial video I shot for Alenka and Margo's latest jewelry collection.

Spawned from our time working on a food shoot and noting how phallic and sexual some food seemed when shot in slow mo, the idea took "Food Porn" to its logical conclusion! Shot on a tiny budget with a skeleton crew it was a bit of a labour of love but big thank you to HAM Films for all their assistance and advice on the day, John Luke Hodgkins at We Are Another Artist for his VFX work on the video, Alex for just letting us run wild with his track and, of course, our star who shall remain nameless for fear of being put on a register.

He thought he was alone, but he was mistaken.

This is a short trailer for an escape room located in Corpus Christi, Texas. The client has 3 rooms and this is the hardest to escape from. Shot using a Sony a6500 set as close as possible to a canon c100 Cine 2 profile. We then graded in Filmconver.

A short film that combines a heartful story – as mostly told in feature films – with the look and feel of a cinematic high fashion TV commercial. The film was shot over the course of a week in October 2016, under the wonderful warmth of the Andalusian sun in picturesque Spain. The story revolves around a young woman and her two male counterparts, fiercely entangled in a play of reality and imagination – while dressed in Gucci, Jil Sander and Maison Martin Margiela. Two competing motives: desire vs. the pursuit of finding true self. Be cautious, things may not be as they appear!

What's the worst that can happen when a boy tries to give a girl a nice bouquet of flowers to ask for forgiveness? From the flower shop, through out the city and the never ending wait till the girl comes, little unfortunate events take place and the beautiful bouquet of flowers get trashed until the last moment. How will the girl react? ----- The video is processed using any Film Convert software

Shot on RED One MX for 168 Film Festival 2011. Made in one week (shooting, editing, sound, music).

278 West 113 Street is where Harry Houdini resided, just down the block from Morningside Park. Who’s Afraid to Listen to Red, Black and Green by artist Kevin Beasley is a series of three installations, each featuring a color of the African-American flag. The “acoustic mirrors” were created out of red, black and green t-shirts cast in resin. The three installations are set high up within Morningside Park, on a landing best reached from 113th Street and Morningside Drive, a location for contemplation, conversation and planned performances. This clip was captured with a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and a Sony PCM M-!0 hand held recorder. The 21mm Super Lentar lens was mounted to a Metabones Speed Booster. A 5 stop ND filter was used on several shots to allow a large iris.

We've all had experiences in our lives that have shaped us. This short film is a comparison between personal growth and community growth. How our own experiences influence and mold the people around us.

Visually we wanted to use an art form and a common community setting to show the connection between personal growth and community growth. Take time to connect what you see with what you hear.
