In June of 2019, a group of clergy and lay people from Piedmont Community Church in California journeyed to Malawi, Africa to observe supported ministries there. They visited a blind school, feeding program for widows and orphans and a hospital in addition to spending a Sunday with sister church, Kafita. Music native to Malawian spiritual culture provides the soundtrack. The film recognizes that the truest gift comes from those who have little to give.

The Silver Boys is a short documentary about street boys juggling to survive. These boys paint their faces and bodies with a metallic paint to stop being invisible.

Spawned from our time working on a food shoot and noting how phallic and sexual some food seemed when shot in slow mo, the idea took "Food Porn" to its logical conclusion! The dancer/choreographer asked me to create a cold an lonely feeling for the film, so I used a high contrast profile and graded with film convert to get the exact colour and grain.

We observe a young man. He s now sitting there weighing in on his options on how to commit suicide. He is not alone though, his other selves, the hippie, the cool guy and the old man are always with him. Together they go on a metaphysical journey through the young man s life, time and space don’ t matter anymore. We meet the young man as a boy-choir member, trying to run away from two very mean looking bullies. We join a party, where all his ex-girlfriends (and boyfriends) do nothing but complain about him, we go on an esoterically fuelled self healing trip and although he doesn’ t achieve spiritual enlightenment, he at least got enough material for an audiobook out of it. “monolog” is a 14-minute short film by the young Viennese-director Christian Thüringer, who also plays all the lead roles. The short film will was on festival tour world wide in 2014 and 2015 and won several awards, including best original screenplay, best actor and best video editing.

A short film that combines a heartful story – as mostly told in feature films – with the look and feel of a cinematic high fashion TV commercial. The film was shot over the course of a week in October 2016, under the wonderful warmth of the Andalusian sun in picturesque Spain. The story revolves around a young woman and her two male counterparts, fiercely entangled in a play of reality and imagination – while dressed in Gucci, Jil Sander and Maison Martin Margiela. Two competing motives: desire vs. the pursuit of finding true self. Be cautious, things may not be as they appear!
