Turning back time to the 1940's, we set out to showcase the immerse atmosphere of Bletchley Park Museum, a location which helped tip the balance of World War II. Using soundscapes provided by the museum to compliment the beautiful grounds and scenery, we used FilmConvert with footage from the Red Scarlet to try and capture the environment as it might have looked back then and to give the viewer a sample of what they might experience there.

A video I shot for an American NGO on a recent trip to Sierra Leone, West Africa. I was documenting their work and visited villages in the african bush to film the people and their everyday life.

Fell in love with this city. 72 hours wasn't enough but it was enough for the memories to last forever. Streets, people, buildings, monuments, parks, food and cats. The city of lights in all it's magnificent glory.

A cheese-maker’s recipe and process is a closely-guarded secret. Internationally renowned Quicke’s contacted me under a veil of secrecy and told me of the imminent launch of their new-recipe clothbound cheese. The introduction of a new ingredient, Cornish Sea Salt, was a really big deal. In close collaboration with Quicke’s I created ‘This Land’ a poetry-driven brand film and a series of four recipe films with Cornwall chef Ben Quinn. The content series is designed to knit together the fabric of the Quicke’s and Cornish Sea Salt brands to celebrate and promote this ‘new wave’ in cheese making.

Holly & Ali got married in the beautiful Kingston Maurward in Dorchester UK. This is my favourite wedding of the year, the lighting was perfect, the day was perfect and I think I've done a pretty good job with the editing and grade with Film Convert :)

While in Morocco for a wedding, we decided to explore the place and take the couple for a session. It turned out to be one of my most enjoyable experiences and this film got us the opportunity to go back to Morocco to work on a tourism film for the city of Casablanca.

Kara returns to her original tribe called the ‘Planters’. They have not seen her in years but suddenly realise that she is not the same person who left them. Kara is adamant that she has returned to save the tribe from imminent extinction but the Planter High Council exercise caution against her hysterical behaviour. Kara then tries to instigate a coup within the tribe with the hope of overthrowing the council hierarchy. Not all Planters are convinced by her claims but by injecting fear into the community chaos ensues. Made with Film Convert

The moody McKinney Cotton Mill in McKinney Texas was such a dream to be able to shoot at. The location was gorgeous, moody, and full of rich history. Cami and Sam were stunning and such fun people to spend the wedding day with.

Shooting the destination wedding of Yanina and Justin was an absolute dream come true. Yanina and Justin were such a gorgeous couple and their commitment and willingness to adventure all over Cabo was something special.

While beta testing Cinema 4D R19 I decided to make a little CG short out of my fracturing testing. I imagine the earth is tired of waiting for humans to get their act together and it must cleanse itself the only way it knows how. All 3D completed in C4D with a little help from SpeedTree and Forester on a few shots and rendering in Redshift (minus the tree fracture shot which was Physical Renderer). Comped in NUKE.

In that time they have seen huge changes in their neighbourhood, and profound changes in the way local people shop for essentials. From humble beginnings selling cigarettes from a window in their family home to a bustling grocery store that served their community, they have seen and felt the rise of supermarkets and convenience stores and the impact that has had on their livelihood. Here they tell their story of how it started, what keeps them working, and what they will do when they finally retire. Kung Fu Journey is a documentary film that tells the story of a Kung Fu Master in Beijing who travels back to the legendary Shaolin Temple and to Tagou Martial Arts School, one of the largest martial arts school in China, with his young Kung Fu students to further their training and deepen their knowledge of Chinese martial arts. Kung Fu Journey was filmed entirely in Tagou Martial Arts School, the Shaolin Temple and its surrounding areas in Dengfeng, China.

When her partner and her mystic guitar case are stolen in the night, the Woman with No Name heads out through the valley to track down the vile perpetrators and bring them swiftly to justice. But vengeance doesn’t come without it’s own costs. How much will she risk to save her companion and to reclaim what mysteries the case conceals?

This is the first in a series for us. A bit of a passion project I guess. Our friend Soren lives out in the French Alps with an amazing story to tell. One day we struck the realisation that we know a bunch of young people who have taken a big leap of faith and are pursuing some really cool dreams. So we decided that we would make a mini series of films that showcase their talents - The People Project. This video was shot pretty much all handheld on a 5D across a 3 day period. Me and Chloe drove down to the alps and hung out with Soren, filming as much as we could. We then left the footage on our hard drives for over a year before coming back to it and starting the edit. We're really proud of the end result!

'Faces of Fall' is a small project I did while working on my aerial cinematography skills. I am a filmmaker based in Lübeck getting more and more into aerial cinematography and photography. I am the kind of guy who needs projects like these and the burning desire that comes with them to get out and realise my ideas instead of just practicing movements over and over again. Getting a cinematic shot with a drone takes a quite some practice - not just the seamless flying part but also finding a good and interesting framing while having only 20 minutes of battery-time up in the air. I came up with the subject of fall and the roughness and beauty that comes with it all showcasing nature around Lübeck, Germany. Unfortunately I did not have the time to cover all facets (like storm and rain - but that would not have been able with the Phantom 4 anyway) - but I think I got lucky with the beautiful ones.
