She started her research of Romany dances with Myriam Szabo and later complemented her training with Ukrainian Petia Lourtchenko, particularly in Russian and Central European Romany dances. She has also studied in India, Transylvania, Budapest and Istanbul. She has performed as a dancer with Fanfare Ciocarlia, Taraf de Haidouks and Roby Lakatos. She is a member of Danza Duende® in Brussels. In this video, Carolina present us her new project / show named ALMA (which means soul). This is not the final version. Three surfers from Kaua`i set out to bring clean water to the people of Indonesia while on a surf trip. After arriving in Indo they learn it's much more difficult to make a difference then they initially thought. Through equal parts persistence and luck they are able to join a student project from Australia who've developed a teaching tool that could save hundreds of lives. The team, with the help of Surfaid Sumba test the project and discovers the key to creating lasting sustainable change. In the end they learn how a small group of people can contribute and make a big improvement in a worldwide problem.

Just before leaving to New York my fist video camera Canon C100 mkII arrived. While flying there I found that song from Al Green, which was all the time in my head. When I arrived on airport I saw many people on phones and I decided to make this short.

Spontaneously filmed during family holidays in the South of France. Therefore no chance to make fancy tripod or Glidecam shots... Good thing there was a boat though! I was crazy enough to film EVERYTHING in Magic Lantern RAW on my 5D Mark III, to improve my post workflow and to capture less redundant footage, with only 32GB per day. Had to buy a new hard drive after a few days. DNG sequence calibrated to VisionLOG, exported as ProRes422 HQ, cut in Premiere and finally graded in After Effects with FilmConvert. The confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was politically divisive, but Walt Whitman's 19th century wisdom is timeless. As a photographer and filmmaker, I live on the road in a motorhome and have a unique opportunity to see this great country of ours in ways most people don't. This film features some of the great scenes I've experienced and my thoughts about this life.

This 5 minutes video is a project that me and my girlfriend Ana took one year and some months to be done. As soon as we started dating I started capturing some of our good times in video with my DSLR camera. Sometimes I also used the camera I had near me. I also had to use a cellphone to film in a prohibited place, the Museum, and when there was no camera around. It may look very simple and not professional, and it's really not. Nothing is staged or planned. It's filmed always with the camera in hand, climbing mountains, sailing in vessels, or eating in restaurants, amongst other situations. Actually it would make no sense if it was staged. Relationships are complicated, but they don't need to be. It only depends on ourselves. The lack of dialogues is to show that love is a language that everyone understands, it doesn't matter if you here, in Brazil, or in Japan. This video will be played in our Wedding, so we can always remind of what really matters, and perhaps inspire other people.
