My girlfriend and I embarked on April 2017 on this epic life-changing experience around the world. We came back one year later with our minds blown away. As a dying android once said: “I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.” As months went by, I never ceased to be amazed by the diversity and the boiling life of our planet, I wanted to share this feeling with others and make a tribute to the Earth and its inhabitants, at a special time in our history when carefulness and respect are most needed. This video showcases one year around the world, from underwater to 6000m peaks, from active volcanoes to Asian temples, a journey of a lifetime. I have the written permission of the composer to use his music.
By FabienThis beautiful wedding took place in Martha's Vineyard on October 6, 2018. I was a stranger to everybody but they treated me like a lifelong friend and made my job an absolute joy. As somebody who uses 4+ cameras on any given wedding day, FilmConvert is a life saver! I decided to try out the Eterna emulation for this wedding and I'm now completely in love with it.

Angelo Ambrosia - Glass Artist
One in a series of bumpers created for the 2013 Starz Denver Film Festival. Five artists were commissioned to create a work of art highlighting the festival theme of "Paint the Town Red". They were given complete creative control and we filmed the process, end product and interviews. Each bumper is 30 seconds, these are both put together with the slides at the end for easier viewing.
This and the other 4 mini documentaries focus on art and what it means to the artist and to the world. Individually they showcase an amazing artist, as a whole they give an idea of what it means to be an "artist".
Each short will be shown before the movies during the festival run, and the finished artwork will be on display in the Filmmakers Lounge at the Denver Pavilions. If you don't make it to the festival please visit their websites at:

By Sancaka Candraditya»Human use, population, and technology have reached that certain stage where Mother Earth no longer accepts our presence with silence.« (The Dalai Lama) ΔNOMΔLY is a short film combining travel footage from Iceland with visual effects. I traveled to the 'Land of Ice and Fire' in October 2017. With a concept in mind of what I wanted to create I teamed up with Benni, Markus and Johannes of Wildboar 3D Studio. Luckily the guys shared my vision so we worked on this passion project together.

Using the facade of a relationship breakdown Another Place aims to show an audience the way people can feel when they're weighted down by a mental health problem. There is limited dialogue, as we would rather the audience project their own feelings onto the piece while watching it. Instead the dramatic, yet soulless sound design, and disorienting original music guide the audience through the piece up until the definitive moment.
By Toby LloydAnthracite is the most valuable coal. With my camera, I submerged into an old mining tunnel near my hometown of Osnabrück in western Germany. The "Hasestollen" was laid out between 1853 and 1856. The tunnel was excavated and opened to the public in 1997. The point of the film is LIFE. Workers might lost their lives doing their work, but ... there is still life where there is light down there. With the soundtrack I also made this life audible.

By Yannick DerennesThis was produced in 2016 for New Zealand Rugby as part of their positive sideline behaviour initiative called 'Applaud'. In the style of a film trailer (there is no movie...yet). The goal was to show how great rugby was (this was a real under 12 game - not contrived) and then contrast it with something negative from a parent on the sideline. The Filmconvert grade (FJSuper X 400/KD 5213 Vis3) was instrumental in hammering home the mood change.

Her objective? To make sure their tech hasn't fallen into the wrong hands and ensure overall civilian safety. Helen discovers that the source of the abberation is currently in the hands of a local developer. Who's chosen the site as ground zero for a posh new housing project. At first glance it seems that this mission will wind up being yet another; false alarm. But just as Helen prepares to wrap up her investigation, she makes a shocking discovery.
