The confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was politically divisive, but Walt Whitman's 19th century wisdom is timeless. In 1892, the poet wrote in prose: "I have sometimes thought, indeed, that the sole avenue and means of a reconstructed sociology depended, primarily, on a new birth, elevation, expansion, invigoration of woman." Towards the end of his life in 1888, he added "America" to his collection "Leaves of Grass," and then recited four lines from the poem, onto a wax cylinder recording, before he died (it is the only record of his voice in existence): "Centre of equal daughters, equal sons, All, all alike endear’d, grown, ungrown, young or old, Strong, ample, fair, enduring, capable, rich, Perennial with the Earth, with Freedom, Law and Love" And the written poem proceeds to say: "A grand, sane, towering, seated Mother, Chair’d in the adamant of Time." "A Week in Costa Rica" is a small video I made while vacationing in Costa Rica.

Kristiāna and Mārcis are followers of Jesus and these people live for God. They got married in Riga, Latvia, in a church which in Soviet Union times was used as a television broadcast studio and now it is rising back to it's glory. The music, which is the key essence to this cinematic wedding short film, is written originally by the groom himself as a devotion to his bride Kristiāna.

This is the latest film in a project to promote the awareness and need for Foster Carers in the Midlands. To be more specific, our brief this year was to address the need for teenagers to be fostered. No matter their story, a teenager's future isn't written. A life can be changed. Filmed with love in April 2018 on location across the Midlands, using the Sony FS7, edited in Adobe Premiere Pro and graded using Lumetri & FilmConvert.

With 170 years of tradition, the Pilgrimage of The Divine Eternal Father is considered the largest feast dedicated to the Holy Trinity throughout the world, which makes the city of Trindade, in the metropolitan region of Goiânia, a special place: The Capital of Faith in the state of Goiás. The devotees go on pilgrimage from different places in the country with a single destination: the "Basilica do Divino Pai Eterno". There they seek meaning for life, relief for the pains or simply thank the received Graces. The pilgrims make the route on foot, a route with 18 km between Goiânia and Trindade.

A brief trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina gave the the realization of the beauty of nature. And so this film attempts to capture the beauty and grandeur of those mountains.
