Installation and Activation Guide

Activating your Plugin
  1. Upon purchasing your license, a user account would have been created for you with a temporary password. If you have not reset your password, please do so here. This will allow you to activate your plugin.
  2. Download and Install the latest trial version of the Adobe Premiere Pro plugin from our Downloads Page.
  3. Open Adobe Premiere Pro and start a new project.
  4. Add some media to the timeline.
  5. In the Effects menu, search for ‘CineMatch’, and drag the CineMatch plugin onto your clip in the timeline. You will see some color changes and the CineMatch logo appear on your clip.
  6. Under Effects Controls, find the CineMatch settings and scroll to the bottom of the settings list.
  7. Next to register the plugin, click the ‘Activate License’ button.
  8. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter your account details in.
  9. After entering in your user account details, you will see an ‘Activation Successful’ pop-up.
    1. If you still have an .FKV file, you can alternatively activate by pressing the ‘User .FKV file’ button, and uploading your .FKV file.
  10. If the watermark does not disappear automatically, please try re-rendering your timeline, or adjust one of the sliders to refresh the image.
  11. If you have any issues with your activation, please contact our Customer Support team.
Uninstalling

For Windows devices, you can uninstall the plugin by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features and then searching for plugin name and clicking Remove.

On MacOS, you will need to manually delete the plugin from the following locations:

The following paths can all be found in the Finder, if you press SHIFT+COMMAND+C, and then go to "Macintosh HD”.

Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/yourversion/MediaCore

Activating your Plugin

  3. Open Final Cut Pro and start a new project.
  4. Add some media to the timeline.
  5. In the Effects panel, search for Cinematch, and drag the CineMatch plugin onto your clip in your timeline. You will see some color changes and the CineMatch logo appear on your clip.
  6. Under the Effects Controls, find the CineMatch settings. Next to 'Purchase and License', click 'Select Operation' and select 'Activate'.
  7. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter your account details in.
  8. After entering in your user account details, you will see an ‘Activation Successful’ pop-up.
    1. If you still have an .FKV file, you can alternatively activate by pressing the ‘User .FKV file’ button, and uploading your .FKV file.
  9. If the watermark does not disappear automatically, please try re-rendering your timeline, or adjust one of the sliders to refresh the image.

  3. Open DaVinci Resolve and start a new project.
  4. Add some media to the timeline.
  5. In the OpenFX panel, search for ‘CineMatch, and drag the CineMatch plugin onto a node in your tree. You will see the CineMatch logo appear on your clip.
  6. Under the OpenFX > Settings, find the CineMatch settings and scroll to the bottom.
  7. Under Export and License, click the Activate License button.
  8. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter your account details in.
  9. After entering in your user account details, you will see an ‘Activation Successful’ pop-up.
    1. If you still have an .FKV file, you can alternatively activate by pressing the ‘User .FKV file’ button, and uploading your .FKV file.
