In a chaotic land, a hero steps forward - A short film; to be expanded upon in an upcoming feature - Once Upon a Time in the Apocalypse
By NathanDECOLONYCITIES. How can we restore suppressed knowledge about Germany’s colonial past? And what specific role did Hamburg play in this story? The Hamburg-based choreographer Yolanda Gutiérrez takes the audience with her on a corporeal and architectural research trip into the HafenCity, where streets are still named after the “conquerors” of the “New World”. Nowhere else is the lasting legacy of colonialism for the “Hansestadt” so apparent. On a walk that is also an audio play, performers from Dar es Salaam and Hamburg portray how their individual experiences and biographies reflect German-Tanzanian history.
By Daniel A. Ospina L.A music video we filmed in two days, filming in Prespa was incredible, especially at the abandoned hotel “Evropa”. Although the flames were not planned in the shoot, we came up with that shot on the road and I’m glad we did them.

By angel salvadorWe decided to travel to the forgotten comunity of Avalos in the north of Mexico which had one of the biggest foundries in the world more than 120 years ago. Nowadays its a forbidden and dangerous place to visit because of the high concentrations of Arsenic, Lead, Cadmium and several other pollutants in the zone. Impressive display of beauty in such decaying constructions.

By Adam MillerA girl. A boy. A past romance. Flashing images of a surreal dreamy purgatory she is locked in. Mentally? Physically? Maybe both... Directed By Manny Liotta Shot by Jason Pundt Artist: Three Guests feat Csenge Forstner A PARTYINFILM Production
By Manny LiottaIt's not often that weddings look beyond the horizon, to something bigger, something more than even two madly in love could contain. It's rare, but not impossible. Such is a Christian wedding at its purist. In a deeply surprising and yet practical way, the Bible says that marriages points at the cosmic, capital 'M' marriage of Jesus and the believers that make up the Church. As a man of faith, a leader at my church AND a wedding cinematographer I happily celebrate weddings from faiths across the board. But every once in awhile I am refreshed by a couple of whom I share this deep conviction - that the day is about them - of course it is! - but it's about so much more.
By Toby MakDoomadgee women look beyond themselves, rekindling a sense of purpose by helping Papua New Guinean women in extreme poverty. This documentary was a journey of exploration for the heart of our story, Veronica. This story lives in two locations, Doomadgee, Australia, a remote indigenous community and Mabaduan, Papua New Guinea, an even more remote coastal community. Our team consisted of an international team (director from USA, DP & Cinematographer from Canada), while our subjects were from a remote indigenous community in the far north west Queensland, Australia and our travel took us to an incredibly remote village in Papua New Guinea. Film Convert was our primary tool for grading and added the essential emotional theme.
