Instead of using your .FKV file, please try logging in with your Username and Password instead.

Otherwise, this is most often caused by your mail client altering the license file. If you are using an older version of the plugin, please try the following steps:

  1. Download the .fkv file using a browser from your webmail. Save the .fkv file to your desktop or another local location
  2. If you are downloading via Safari, please un-tick "open safe files after downloading" in your browser preferences

No! Your best bet would be to upgrade to a Bundle license, which allows you to activate on all the platforms we support: Premiere Pro and After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. Bundle upgrade costs are usually around $50. This may vary depending on the license you are upgrading from.

You can find more details over here: https://www.filmconvert.com/bundle-upgrade

This happens when you have copied your data to a new computer using the Apple Migration Assistant.

To fix this please make a backup of Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/RubberMonkey/Profiles or have the original camera pack installers handy.

Next delete Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/RubberMonkey, then re-install the plugin.

This is caused by trying to activate FilmConvert Nitrate with a FilmConvert Pro license key.

Your best option would be to upgrade to Nitrate. This is the latest version of the plugin that runs natively on newer devices, and receives regular software updates/camera pack releases.

If you prefer not to purchase a Nitrate upgrade, you can still use FilmConvert Pro. You can download FilmConvert Pro from our Legacy Installers page.

Your FilmConvert license is considered a single user license. However we allow you to activate the software on up to three machines at one time for convenience.

If you’ve reached your max activations limit, you will need to deactivate an existing machine before you can activate on your new computer.

If your old computer is no longer active or able to be deregistered, please contact us.

If you are using the latest version of FilmConvert Nitrate, you can remotely deactivate licenses from your personal account.

Older versions require that you deactivate from within the plugin itself. You can select "deactivate" from the plugin settings panel to free that license slot. This will require an active internet connection.
